Audio: Embracing the End of Summer

Well, hello there, friend! Today I thought I’d try something a bit different from the norm and give an audio recording a try about some things I’m doing to embrace the end of summer. This is a chit-chat style conversation, so don’t expect anything professional or well done. Instead, it’s just me sharing some of my seasonal living thoughts with you that I think you’ll enjoy.

Autumn Herbal Infusion

  • 2 parts nettle leaf
  • 2 parts mint (spearmint/peppermint)
  • 1 part lemon balm
  • 1 part milky oats
  • 1 part red clover blossoms
  • 1 part burdock root
  1. Choose your part and mix all herbs together in a large bowl.
  2. Store herb mix in a labeled glass storage container.
  3. Use 1-2 tbsp per 8 fl oz. boiled water and steep for 20 minutes, or use 4-8 tbsp per 32 fl oz boiled water and steep overnight.
  4. Strain mixture through a fine-mesh sieve, compost herbs, and enjoy up to 4 cups of tea a day, sweetened or unsweetened.
