“Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.” — Albert Einstein
Encouraging words for today’s cold nature walk where we collected more goodies for our October Nature Table.
If you’re wondering what a nature table is all about, let me tell you. It’s a simple monthly activity we do to visualize the seasons year-round. Here’s how we do it.
Throughout the month, we collect one new thing for our nature table each day during our nature walk. Nature walks can be longer during warmer weather and shorter during cool weather. It’s completely up to you. When you come in, place your item on a table that will be used for your nature finds. By the end of the month, you will have 20 or more items that reflect that season. Take a picture of it and save it. At the end of the year, you can print all of the pictures and make a yearly calendar! Easy peasy!
Bonus points if you come inside and research what you found. You could watch a YouTube video on it, read about it in a book, or even dried in a nature journal.
Love and light,
Meagan
