How To Be A Homemade Mommy

Homemade Mommy Handbook

Ever since becoming a mom I’ve been focused on natural living that’s healthy for me, my husband, and our children. The problem is that there are so many things to think of and consider when it comes to living natural, healthy lives.

For us, I knew the first thing that I needed to improve was our diet. Diet is often the first thing people think of when they think of getting healthy, but it’s one of the hardest to actually do. Still to this day, although our diet is far better than that of 5 years ago, it still needs work. I’m constantly learning and growing in the area of nutrition, and it, in my opinion, is one of the most important areas of healthy living we can focus on.

One of my newer hobbies has become cooking. Growing up, my mom always cooked for us. Even though it was always a home-cooked meal, it didn’t consist of homemade, healthy foods. A lot of things were convenience type foods that were prepackaged and preserved. So when I got married, that’s what I cooked. It’s all I knew how to cook.

Here lately I’ve wanted to expand the knowledge I’ve gained over the last 5 years about healthy eating and branch out in to making things from scratch because I know it’s healthier. Sure it takes more time, but part of my role as mom is to care for my family. I want to be concerned for our nutrition. I want to take the time to put together whole food meal plans that are nourishing to our bodies. I want to learn how to cook delicious foods that my husband and kids love, and I don’t want to have to worry about it being harmful to our health.

I want to learn to be a Homemade Mommy!

What’s A Homemade Mommy?

Well, to me, a homemade mommy is a mom that makes things at home from scratch. She is skilled in a particular area (many really) and has a thorough understanding of how to combine separate, individual things together to make something special. Whether it’s making a dress, homeschooling her children, or making dinner… it’s creative and done well.

Becoming A Homemade Mommy

If you were blessed enough to have a mother or grandmother that took the time to teach you how to do these sorts of homemade things for yourself, then you’re probably well ahead of the rest of us.

If you’re like me and you missed out on some of this (or ignored it), there’s still hope.

Thankfully there are people out there like the lovely Lindsey Gremont of HomemadeMommy.net who are willing to take the time to share their knowledge with those of us who could use some of it!

The Homemade Mommy Handbook

Lindsey has written a 77 page e-book that is packed full of information on how you can cook homemade meals just like your grandmother and great-grandmother used to. Best of all, it’s healthy and it’s not that difficult!

I am loving this e-book and here’s why!

Not only is it packed full of appetizers, snacks, breakfasts, condiments, salads, drinks, soups, stews, stocks, sauces, side dishes, main dishes, and desserts, but it teaches you how to cook using basic cooking techniques and how to combine flavors to get your food tasting exactly the way you want.

This is exactly what I want! I want to learn how to roast a turkey for Thanksgiving (something I’ve never done). I want to learn how to properly broil something other than using that setting for garlic bread only. I want to learn how to make some new recipes that will blow my dinner guests away.

Are you with me? Do you feel the same way?

I don’t know about you, but the more I learn about health and nutrition, the more into food I get. I love to eat, especially when it’s deliciously healthy. This e-book has really helped me to pinpoint some areas that I can start working on right now, and it can help you too!

Take a look at what all is inside of Lindsey’s beautifully designed book…
