I’m sharing a bit of what our life has looked like lately through photos in this month’s “Day In The Life” post.
I hope you enjoy getting a peek into our everyday life!

Watauga Lake is beautiful this time of the year. The water is a deep blue, green, the trees are full, the wind is crisp, and the sun makes the water sparkle like diamonds.
My boys love digging in the dirt and finding all sorts of bugs. Most of them don’t survive, but we’re working on learning how to take better care of things.
My mother-in-law’s crazy peacock likes to strut in front of our cars, looking at himself in the bumpers, and then he attacks his reflection, scratching the cars. Dean had to catch him and put him up until he cools down. Animals.
House renovations are constantly going on. We’ve finally finished up the outside of the house. All we need to do now to touch up the paint on all the trim, paint the bottom railing of the deck, put the gutters on, rock the bottom of the house, build our retaining wall and rock it, excavate the land around the house, and landscape everything else. And that’s just the outside projects. Pray for me, please.
Birthdays are fun with the cousins! Decorations, games, presents, healthy food and desserts, and more! Judah had a great 8th birthday!
Mentos and soda never gets old.
Words cannot express the handsomeness of this boy. He steals my heart every day.
So that’s a bit about what’s been going on in our lives lately. I’m so thankful that you are here, and that you let me share my life with you.
