I don’t know about you, but I love setting a list of to-dos for myself each month as a way to give myself something to look forward to and keep me motivated when I’m feeling bored. Below are some things on my October to-do list.
- Take a scenic drive to enjoy the colorful leaves
- Dip some colored leaves in beeswax and string them into a garland for my fireplace mantle
- Make some rolled beeswax candles
- Decorate the house for autumn (yes, I’m just now getting around to this)
- Plant new bulbs and mulch the garden beds for winter
- Have friends over for a bonfire, s’mores, and mulled apple cider
- Use the last of the apples to make homemade apple cider vinegar
- Stock up on autumn tea blends, such as Orange Spice, Autumn Chai, and Gingersnap
- Order some autumn stickers to use in my journal over the next couple of months.
- Gather winter herbal remedy recipes and supplies to start preparing for my winter natural medicine cabinet.
While I’m sure there’s more I can add to this list, this seems like enough for the moment.
Now it’s your turn! Share one thing you would add to this list in the comment section or jump over to the Facebook group and share with us there. This will help us get to know each other better and, hopefully, form some online friendships with like-minded folks. If others have already commented, hit reply to their comment and reply back! I’ll be checking in from time to time to respond to you as well!
Love and light,
Meagan
