THE SUNDAY STEEP ONLINE TEA-MAKING COURSE

Imagine holding a mug of steaming herbal tea in your hands. You smell the delicate mix of peppermint, chamomile, and rose and take pride in the fact that you’ve personally blended this soothing brew with intention and care. As you take a sip, the stresses of the day melt away, and, for just a moment, you’ve tapped into your calmest, most joyful self.

In this online tea-making course, we will take this experience and transform it from an occasional treat to a daily ritual — creating a direct path to the slowed-down life you’re seeking.

Blending and drinking tea is deeply empowering.

Each week, we’ll focus on a different aspect of this intentional act of slow living. We’ll blend and sip the same recipes together, read through informational lessons, test our knowledge with mini-quizzes, and take this art even further with weekly homework assignments.

“I was so inspired to create my own daily tea ritual after going through this course — a time just to myself where I can sit quietly, read, look through a magazine, journal my thoughts, or enjoy a snack — a brief moment that I can look forward to each day (when I can work it in) that is just mine. Thanks, Meagan, for sharing your tea ritual, for making it look so doable, and for inspiring me to do the same for myself. It has been a soothing balm to my heart and mind.”

What if slowing down is simpler than you thought?

Maybe your life is flying by. Maybe you feel like you’re running desperately after it.

You’re not alone. I’ve been there.

A few years ago, I found myself desperately needing to step off the hamster wheel. Even if it meant sacrificing my attachment to the hustle. Even if it meant changing my definition of success.

One winter, three years ago, I discovered it could be as simple as tea. I started cozying up with a blanket, sipping a warm herbal blend, and taking time to journal… every day.

Ahhh. Peace and solitude. Permission to pause.

Soon this daily tea ritual transformed into a must-have. I craved it. Now, no day feels complete without it.

This winter, I want to share that peace and connect with the plants with you.

In this online tea-making course, you’ll learn in three weeks the recipes and rituals that took me three years to develop.

“There was so much that I took away from this course, but the thing that I’ve put to use the most has been the information from that last week about sharing tea with others. Since taking this course last year, I’ve hosted several “tea gatherings” with my girlfriends, which have all been a hit, and I’ve also gifted tea blends to friends and family during the holidays. I find myself referring to the tea blends in the PDF (which is so beautiful, by the way) regularly when looking for a new tea to try or a blend to make and give to someone.”

WHO IS ‘THE SUNDAY STEEP’ FOR?

THE OVERLY BUSY

Whether you’re a parent or grandparent, working 9-5 (or nights) most of the week, a dedicated student, or any other kind of busy — if you long to slow your life and make space for stillness, this course is for you. You’ll even get plenty of tea blend ideas to help you get started!

THE HERBAL ENTREPRENEUR

If you are an herbalist looking for guidance on how to create your own custom tea blends for yourself, your customers, or your one-on-one clients, this course will show you how I do it using a tool that makes formulating tea blends a breeze. We’ll not only discuss how to create well-rounded herbal formulas, but we’ll unpackage this simple tea-blending tool piece by piece to help you to create intuitive, effective, tasty tea blends that showcase your herbal skill and knowledge.

THE CREATIVE SOUL

Do you love learning new skills or developing new hobbies? Do you look forward to making and gifting handcrafted goodies no matter what the occasion? Do you feel fulfilled by taking individual parts and creating something useful from them? If so, this course will help you hone in on how to create your own handcrafted tea blends that you can share with friends and family (or a complete stranger) to bring joy and happiness to others.

“I wasn’t sure if I should take this course. I had lots of excuses — near the holidays, too busy, don’t drink tea regularly, so on and so forth. But my craving to slow my busy life down kept bringing me back to Meagan and this course. So last minute, I decided to take the plunge, and I’m SO glad that I did. I can’t tell you what a treat it was to open my email every Sunday and find a new lesson waiting for me. I felt like a kid at Christmas! LOL! And I did just what you said — I put a tv show on for the kids, made myself the tea recipe in the lesson, then sat down somewhere quiet to read, and it felt so good! While I don’t currently have a tea time every day, I have been making many of the tea recipes from the course and drinking them with my kids when we get a chance, especially the holiday teas. This is turning out to be a perfect way for all of us to have a moment of calm and to experience the joy of tea, so thanks.”

Up until this point, I’d always bought store-bought teas, but after taking this course, I feel confident enough to make my own blends using the tea blending tool Meagan taught us about. I’ve even dabbled in making some herbal tea blends for medicinal uses too! Progress!
