Video: How To Make Herbal Dream Incense Cones & Loose-Leaf Incense Blends

Ever wanted to know how to make your own herbal dream incense, either in loose-leaf form or as incense cones?

If so, check out this recipe walk-through video to see how I do it. I’m going to show you how to make an herbal dream incense blend that can be used in both a loose-leaf incense blend and incense cones. Both of these forms of incense will help to heighten your dreams and help you to become more aware of them.

The herbal dream incense cones can be burned in an incense burner or on a heat-resistant stone or glass plate. Just be careful when moving it as it can become hot to the touch. The loose-leaf herbal dream incense can be placed on top of lighted charcoal disks in an herbal incense burner or placed in a muslin or cotton drawstring bag and used as an herbal dream pillow.

I’m going to walk you through the entire process for making each of these things from start to finish, showing you exactly how I do everything, and hopefully, making it super simple for you to do it too!

Now before you watch this video, be sure to read the Dream a Little Dream with Mugwort article so you understand why spring is the season for dreamwork and how mugwort can help with that. Once you’ve read it, come back here and watch how to make this herbal dream incense and give it a try for yourself.

Hi Meagan, Thank you for this tutorial. I am super excited to give this a try! Can I substitute something else for the sage? That’s the only ingredient I don’t have on hand at the moment.

    • Meagan Visser says:

Absolutely. You can replace it with any aromatic, herbaceous scented herb, such as peppermint/spearmint, rosemary, thyme, etc. Hope that helps!
