Summer is coming, and that means spending more time outdoors with our kids. Time outdoors can be full of fun and adventure, but it can unfortunately include sunburns, rashes, and bug bites. With kids, these annoyances can be a big deal. They’re uncomfortable and they itch. That leaves kids scratching, and excessive scratching can lead to infections and scars.
So what’s a natural mama to do? Certainly you want to stay away from those anti-itch hydrocortisone creams as much as possible, but what other options do you have?
Well today my friend, you’re in luck because I’m going to share my homemade anti-itch oatmeal paste recipe with you that is not only great at relieving itching, but it’s gentle and nourishing to your child’s skin too!
I am curious to find out what blog system you’re utilizing? I’m
experiencing some minor security issues with my latest website
and I’d like to find something more safe. Do you have any solutions?
Hi John… I’m on Wordpress. I’m not sure if that’s what you’re looking for, but I hope it helps!
Hi, the link doesn’t seem to work. I’m really interested in an anti-itch cream/paste because my nephew (he’s almost 3) gets really bad bug bites – he scratches them a lot, breaking the skin, and they get infected. It can get really bad and then they have to put him on antibiotics. If I could find something that would prevent him from itching maybe it wouldn’t get that far. Thanks!
Sorry about that Fiorella. I’ve contacted the blog owner of that guest post to check on the problem with the link. We’ll try to get it fixed ASAP!!
