It’s March, yet spring feels so far away. Sure the crocuses, daffodils, and windflowers have bloomed. The forsythia, maple, Bradford pear, and cherry branches are flowering. And yes, the daylily, tulip, and allium green foliage are all peaking up through the black moist soil.
But… I long for spring gardening.
Last year I purchased a new gardening tool set that quickly broke, so this year, I’m thinking about investing in Barebones brand gardening tools. I’ve also had my eye on this delicious linen apron that I plan to use for gardening, cooking, and cleaning. I also want to get a few of these swiveling, retractable garden hose reels for around the house. I’ve heard really good things about them, but I need to convince Dean they’re worth the price.
So here I sit, daydreaming of spring gardens and the things that will help make my dreams a reality.
